Our third visit in four years. Burghley probably has the best variety of things to do if you're not particularly into watching the horsey stuff, of all the 3 day events. The shopping is good, lots of interesting traders with a wide range of products....More

Until this year it is sometime since I attended the three day event at Burghley. The number of stalls has increased but the variety of goods available has Become too expensive and a number of good stalls are no longer there...particularly thinking of Foxes who...More

Paid £18x2 for a ticket and £12 for parking and travelled for over 3 hours. We basically paid to go shopping! When we tried to watch the showjumping we where told that we had to paid extra for grand stand tickets (which where sold out)....More

I thoroughly enjoy coming to the horse trials, and I'm in no way a "horsey" person. Saturday is by far the best day, it's the cross country so you don't need to worry about extra tickets for the arena etc. There's a huge shopping area...More

You park in the grounds so it's a bit of up and down with all parking on the grass. some of the route in is on tarmac and some on grass. generally I'd say you're fine in whatever car you're in. Many a swanky low ride sports... More
