Really enjoyed the cross country in the glorious weather on Saturday. General organisation and the facilities on site are excellent.
Just a couple of rooms for improvement:
1. No Leaderboards - apart from listening to the very good commentary over the PA, there were no...More
A really enjoyable and varied 4 days. I am nothing to do with horses but found the whole setup, ambiance and activities worth the money.
Bought a members package and worth it for the better parking, access to the buffet (rather than just stalls) access...More
I spent 5 days at Burghley campsite with a friend. We had a great time. The campsite is well organised with good sized pitches, toilets and showers.
Evening meals are available at the nearby golf club, but book early as it soon fills up.
Having been to most of the UK 3 day events, this one is probably the best overall.

You park in the grounds so it's a bit of up and down with all parking on the grass. some of the route in is on tarmac and some on grass. generally I'd say you're fine in whatever car you're in. Many a swanky low ride sports car can be seen here. I think it's all about picking your entrance as the terrain differs a lot across the grounds. I'd personally go in via the main entrance off Barnack Road. flattest ground.
