The park is full of deer and you can walk along the river, look at the Lions on the Lion Bridge and Burghley House. There is a small natural playground which kids love.

We live quite near Burghley Park and we enjoy walking here - the garden is beautiful and it's wonderful to see the deers, too. The we treat ourselves to ice cream - try the pistachio, quite refreshing!

This was the second time I had visited the park this year, the first being in February when it was cold. But this time it was a lovely sunny day and the open space was great for taking a short walk.
