I was visiting Poole and had heard of the smugglers pub, so decided to visit. I was in a "drinking mood" so I decided to use public transport, Bonus!! bus stops virtually outside and opposite the pub. I was impressed by the selection of beers...More

No frills and better for it! Nice real ale and cider selection. A good honest pub. Had a few relaxed nights here and always good. Not sure about the coloured changing lights though!

I was in Poole Dorset staying at Brownsea Castle. We were delighted with this city. There is lots to do and many pubs doing really nice and reasonably priced food. The harbour is amazing and it is a very busy port. We were really lucky...More

If you like real ale & indeed cider this is one of the places to visit. It's a 'no frills' pub, which was previously a Chinese restaurant, but the place is about drinking & socialising. There are usually 8 real ales, 6 ciders, some craft...More

Fantastic friendly pub serving a great selection of real ales, ciders and craft lagers. This place is a world away from the angry and aggressive cheap branded lager fuelled nights you get with the "Spoons" generation. All staff and drinkers are welcoming in this quiet...More

An absolute joy to visit with a huge range of real ale and cider changing almost daily. A shame it is on my way home from work. Really friendly staff with a great knowledge of their products.
