I live locally and visit the Dolphin Centre for a couple of clothes shops and the pound shop in Falklands Square even though the centre does have many other shops, you have Sainsburys off the high street but no Asda or Tesco. It has a library, gym and a kids play group, I have eaten in the Centre a few... More

To everyone who would like to park in carpark number 2, please be aware , especially when taking small children with you, it would appear that a human is using the stair well and corner of car park entrance to the stairs as a place to defficate and live. There are other obvious signs and the smell is terrible. I... More

The good thing about the Dolphin Centre is that it is situated off the bus terminal. We did not notice this and took a bus to the quay, but walked through a shopping precinct on our way back which took us into the Centre. You must try the Cornish Pasties at the shop by the crossing-never before seen a railway... More

Came to Poole for the weekend, first stop the dolphin shopping centre, what a job finding disabled parking, several areas taped off,bad enough, but needed to hire a scooter for my wife to use,it really was a shambles, went to find mobility shop, when I eventually found it it was closed, wasn't sure if it had been moved as work going on at the centre,in the end... As a local I am writing about our very own shopping mall. Its not too attractive from the front as it is quite tatty looking at it from the very busy bus terminal and the frontage could do with a revamp. Inside it is spacious and airy with a nice feel over the 2 floors. There is a good mix... More

Number of shops both brand names and private. Well worth a visit. Plenty of parking spaces. Downside was trying to find the car park after shopping as no signs to point you in the right direction.

Visited today after being told that there was a great street market just outside of the Dolphin Centre. We also saw that this market was advertised on Poole tourism info. Went to the Dolphin Centre to find that it was just an average shopping centre with almost nothing on the upper level. We went outside to look for the market,... More

Had a wander round here late on a Saturday afternoon. Not too busy so very pleasant. Good variety of shops with all sorts of stuff from clothes, shoes, food and household items to toys and music and more besides. Nice place to spend a leisurely afternoon.

I don't often visit the Dolphin Centre but it is popular with locals and visitors alike. Transport links are good as the railway station is close by as is the bus station and there is plenty of parking including 2 multi storey car parks joined to the shopping centre. There are one or two shops empty at the moment as... More

A standard shopping centre with many nautical themed luncheonettes but unfortunately none of them serve dolphin. Which is probably a good thing. A slew of the chain stores canst be found here including a giant Boots which İm pleased to report does at least sell things to put in boots.
