Friendly visit with lots of information at a leisurely pace. Dendrochronology was really interesting for central post and came away understanding all about windmills. Climbed right up to the top internally and looked at all the workings. Even had a video to explain it. Well...More

A small local windmill. Open usually one weekend in the month. Stopped today for something to do. As a small carpark making visitig easy. Only a small entrace fee which gave us a guided tour of the museum and watched the video on the history...More

This appears to be in incredibly good condition and looks very attractive in its location. I believe it is the only remaining traditional windmill in Hertfordshire.

A interesting historic windmill with a lot of changes over he century's. Only £2 to enter. Easy free parking and you could have a picnic there if you bring your own food. Glad they saved it and guide was very informative. Open Sunday afternoons 2.30...More

Great site & landmark to visit, learn more about and photograph right in the British countryside 🙂 free parking and right on the Hertfordshire footpath trails!

Took my grandchildren they loved it and even with supervision moved the sails they were facinated. Myself I was a bit scared of the steep steps but really did enjoy all the history. A building well worth preserving
