Friendly staff, very good range of well kept beers. Of the ale pubs in Ipswich, this is the most welcoming, and in a good location close to the town centre and the waterfront.

Always busy and a good atmosphere. Owners have put a lot of time and money into this pub. They also have a brewery shop and b & b too. 3 or 4 beer festivals a year with a huge selection of real ales.
