Great hidden walks by water or through trees just great place to visit for children and adults alike. Nice cafe in the old stables. Parking not good.

When Holywells Park got it's lottery grant the other year, it has made it one of the best parks to visit, as they now have a lovely café, so if your exhausted after playing with the kids in there playground, you can have a well...More

Lovely park with excellent childrens playground / plenty of open space/ attractive ponds / lovely café - well worth a visit with the kids and gran.

Something for everyone in this park. A wonderful children's playground which is even better in the Summer with the water feature. Lovely walks, beautiful gardens, the orangery, the stables and a lovely cafe. Also excellent toilets in the stable block and by the children's play...More

Worth a visit anytime of year so many different types of walks from slightly challenging to flat walking the wildlife is lovely from kingfisher to heron to beautiful ducks, food and drink can be purchased from the stable block cafe.

I saw mention of the Cold Fair in my daughter's local paper and so we all ( husband, daughter and grand daughter) went along - excellent event!! Plenty for children to do - my young grand daughter made a wassail stick, and a bird feeder...More

Apologies for not responding earlier, jolleyjohn. We only had scones with jam and cream - there were other things on the menu but I'm afraid I was treated, so did t see it all.

I have searched the Internet and can't find the address for the entrance to holywells park ? Also can you drive to the stables coffee shop ? Or how far a walk is it ? Thanks

Hi Claire. There are 2 entrances to the park and one of them is at the stable block entrance, through Cliff lane, just past "Cliff La, Ipswich IP3 0PQ". There is a car park at the park but that might be for employees only... More
