This Library holds excellent Table Top Sales on a Wednesday and a Saturday. They also sell lovely greeting cards.

The reference section upstairs is very quiet and contains books that would be difficult to afford and has a good supply of specialist subject matter . The staff are very helpful and the range of books across all subjects on the ground floor is amazing considering there is no charge... More

Oh, and it closes on bank holiday Monday... why? It is not a bank, should be open for those working in the week who have other... More

I visited today to get some work done and was pleased to be in a big light, quiet study space sat next to a stained glass window of Geoffrey Chaucer. The rest of level one, where computers and tables are seemed very busy. Only let down was toilet and key system with a load of rules on a piece of... More

the staff are friendly, there is a great choice of books and the building is nice too. There are events happening most weeks. It's an enjoyable place to visit.
