Must see....one of Ipswich's oldest church's.

A amazing church right in Ioswich town centre, and one of the few that is still in use as a church!!

This church has its doors wide open and welcomes everyone. It is a beautiful church, the usual lovely windows and stonework but as soon as I entered my eyes were drawn to the beautiful floor tiles. I took a couple of photos of them then as we moved towards the front of the church we saw a couple of guys... More

With so many churches locked up against unwelcome intrusion and vandalism it is so good to find one that wecomes you (all comers) - May Chrst be with them and all who visit her.

Main church is hided in surprisingly mystical place in very center of the town. Worth just to go and find it. Decorated with good sculptures, has gorgeous stained glass windows. If you'll be lucky you may hear strange ringing of the bells at evening.

Brilliantly restored and painted porch and a spectacular altar in the high Victorian fashion. The piscina Sedalia are utterly exuberant and en suite with the almost pre- Raphalite reredos.

On our way to Christchurch Park, my friend and I noticed the 'Church Open' board. We were warmly greeted by the people stewarding. It was a delight to learn of the history of the church and our questions were welcomed. Since returning home, I've found the church well documented on the internet, which will entice me back to the church... More

We do not worship here but attend variou recitals during the year. The Tuesday lunchtime recitals have many and varied performers. They range from solo pianists, trios, singers, to choirs and organ recitals. Every Christmas there is a fantastic Christmas tree festival when the whole church, and even the porch is filled with trees of every shape and size. This is... More

What a magnificent, imposing and grand venue, for our town, to show off to visitors. As wonderful as any of this countries impressive cathedrals (and a rather friendly clergy)
