A gem of a museum. A great way to find out about the history of the Ipswich area - not just its transport. There are lots of vehicles to see, most of them very well restored, along with several bikes, lawn mowers and even a combine harvester. In fact the range of displays is greater than you normally get at... More

We had a wonderful time at the Transport Museum, it's a great place for young and old and we will definitely be going back. There is lots to do and it did bring back some memories. The grandchildren lived the fact they could ride on various vehicles. It was cold, so, just wrap up warm and you will have a... More

Interesting for young and old alike. A lot of Ipswich's history hidden in here and plenty of vehicles to look at. The staff are all interested and willing to chat and give more information.

A large and varied collection of historic public transport and other memorabilia, plus a nice little retro tearoom. Some interesting and impressive restorations in progress too. Well worth a visit, especially on a rainy day.

The Mercedes Benz owners club of which we are proud members booked a trip earlier this year to this wonderful transport museum in Ipswich. I have never seen so many really interesting vehicles under one roof all very well presented. It was indeed an experience not to be missed

An excellent afternoon spend among the old and varied buses/trolley buses/coaches as well as bikes, fire engines, ambulances and an old Trident car. The cgrandhildren thoroughly enjoyed getting in and trying the various seats out in the many vehicles and buses that they were allowed to get into.
