MOSTYN is a friendly place to discover inspiring art, enjoy our shop and cafe, and learn or do something new. Bringing an impressive selection of international contemporary art to Llandudno, we have a varied programme of exhibitions and events, in fantastic spaces that merge the old and the new. We offer a wide range of activities, and families are particularly welcome. With activity sheets, talks, tours, workshops and drop-in sessions, there's something for everyone. In our stunning shop you'll find the best in contemporary craft from Wales and beyond. We stock jewellery, ceramics, textiles and glassware alongside books and gifts for all ages. Come along to our fully accessible and spacious cafe which offers delicious freshly cooked food with an international flavour. It's the ideal place to call in for brunch, lunch or afternoon tea, with lovely views to the sea and the work of local artists on the walls. Knowledgeable gallery staff are always happy to talk to you about the exhibitions. If you have any questions, or would like an informal tour, just ask.

What attracted me to this place was the building, its absolutely beautiful. I'm a fan of all different kinds of art but unfortunately found the current exhibition didn't do a thing for me. I'm sure if I came back when they changed the exhibits there...More

Having heard a lot about this place, it was lovely to finally visit - twice in the last few weeks. You see the shop first - an amazing and varied collection of work by different British artists and makers. Then there's a light airy gallery...More

We mopped in here to kill some time and were not disappointed, the exhibition space was light and airy, there was a lovely cafe and extensive shop.

Like so many people, I started by visiting the shop before seeing the gallery. The people of Llandudno are really lucky to have such a great source of jewellery, crafts, artwork and even birthday cards. The gallery was totally unexpected. Llandudno has a very genteel...More

Great modern conversion of what I think was the old post office. The exhibition I saw was interesting even if I didn’t understand all of the exhibits. The layout of the gallery is excellent and there are plenty of cards to explain the exhibits. However,...More

The exhibitions in the gallery are always veery interesting but what I really like about the Oriel Mostyn Gallery is the cafe which serves really tasty meals and snacks with efficient service from friendly staff. A great place for a coffee or lunch

Has some really wacky exhibits at times, but an asset to the town and worth a visit. There is a lovely coffee shop upstairs.

We popped in to the cafe today with our 2 year old daughter. I had a lovely goats cheese salad and my husband a yummy steak sandwich. There was bags of room for a big pram and high chairs. I didn't spot a children's menu...More
