More
An ancient church on the Great Orme, overlooking the sea and surrounded by a historic churchyard. The church is sometimes confused with the 20th chapel in the adjoining Great Orme Cemetery. The church is open every day from 1 April to 31 October and weekends, Wednesdays and bank holidays the rest of the year, weather permitting. Open air services are held on Sundays at 11.00 am from the end of May till the end of September (in the church in bad weather) and monthly services are held in the church over winter. Information leaflets and booklets are available in the church.

Just off the main promenade between Rhos on Sea and the little Orme hidden down a bank is this beautiful, working small church. Just big enough for about 4-6 people. Services are still held there. It was the home and shrine of St Trillo an...More

For me, the best thing here is the graveyard. Oh, and the views! In the church itself there is a leaflet for a self guided tour of the interesting gravestones. Absolutely worth doing if you are passing on the way to the summit of the...More

I had previously only seen this church from the top of the Orme, and had always assumed it was 100 or so years old. Not so! It is many hundreds of years old, and the history is explained in the excellent guide leaflet available inside....More

This is a tiny old church, with much history, set close to the road below the summit of Great Orme. A very pretty location with distant coastal views. There is a small car park just before a sharp bend on the narrow ascent road. The...More

In a spiritual setting overlooking the dramatic sea. Do pick up the leaflet ‘Exploring St. Tudno’s Churchyard’ found in one of the wooden archways in the perimeter wall. It details a tour of the churchyard and some of the interesting things to see there.
