A wild beach - probably not good for swimmers - the estuary has a strong tide. Great for dog walking etc and close to Great Orme. Fantastic view of Snowdonia on a clear day. Beach Cafe. Oh, the white rabbit? A reference to Alice in Wonderland - this from the BBC website: Llandudno's place in Alice lore varies from influential... More

In contrast with hustle and bustle of Llandudno's main promenade on the other side of the Great Orme, enjoy the peace of the West shore, with great views over to Conway.

Found this beach by chance on a previous occasion. As other reviewers have remarked, it is the one where all the locals go and it is not jammed packed full of holiday makers and day trippers. Nice expanse of beach, lovely views, not many people on our visits.

The view is beautiful the smell of sea is amazing and love to see happy families with dogs playing around :) I never go back home with the... More
