Even at this time of year the gardens are worth a visit. In the Summer it would be more enjoyable, the views are great

Pretty enough place, you have to be quite fit to walk all the way up to the ski centre. The gardens are a little unkempt but charming in their own way. For me it's all about the view though. Fantastic seaviews, out across the pier, worth the walk for that alone. If you've got a naughty streak (like I have)... More

what beautiful gardens, clean and radiant especially on a sunny day like it was for us, there is some flat parts of the gardens but some parts are rather hilly so not really recommended for people who find it difficult to walk up hills, yet again there is plenty of benches to rest.

The Happy Valley Gardens are just lovely on an autumn day they are so relaxing and a wonderful view out to sea. The only problem if you cannot walk too well it is a very steep climb to them.

An Alice in Wonderland attraction trail is prominent within these gardens with wooden King and Queen of Hearts Thrones, which can be sat on, The Mad Hatter's tea party table, and other such like attractions. The garden is well set out and has a band stand and Ice cream parlour and restaurant together with access to Great Orme's Cable car... More

We normally visit with our children and have ice creams on the grassed area. This weekend we were child free but still chose to visit and have a coffee and ice cream and sit on the benches on the edge of the gardens overlooking straight across the waters. Lovely to just watch and take in all of the surroundings. Also... More
