Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Much of high quality happens her!
I will highlight the summer concerts that take place in Foaje in the middle of the day at summertime. Variety one hour, really a cultural experience, theater, opera or rock and jazz.
To city residents and tourists, Summer concerts in the foaje are greate!

I visited the concert hall whilst on a cruise port call as an independent visitor. It just happened that I thought I’d pop in to take some photos of the inside and compare it to the one in Oslo I’d seen previously, a few years ago. I’d only been in the reception area a few minutes when a wonderful lady asked if she could help me. I asked if it was permitted for me to take photos of the reception area where there was an incredible aerial sculpture and she said of course. Not only did she allow me to take photos, she then took me on a personalised tour of the venue with an incredible wooden staircase leading to the main auditorium. She asked me if I wanted to go inside to look. I said yes, so she took me up a further staircase leading out onto the balcony of the main hall. I could not believe my eyes as there below was The Stavanger Symphony Orchestra rehearsing. It was a real privilege to listen to them for a few moments. I cannot thank the lady who showed me around enough. Apparently she is a pensioner who covers their reception and who is obviously very proud of the hall, speaking in glowing terms of the hall and Stavanger itself. She is a real credit to the city.

We had an excellent reason to go to the Konserthus, for our niece had to perform (harp) so we booked tickets for a concert with music from Rachmaninov. Next time we visit Stavanger we will certainly book a ticket to visit a concert again.

Our cruise ship docked right next to this very modern concert hall. It is quite large considering that the population of this city is around 190,000. So this is a modern commitment to the arts. Very modern building.

Fantastic acoustic in the Zetlitz hall for rock and pop concerts with larger productions. More shows should and could be put on here, for any artist that can attract 1700 capacity crowds.

Went to watch opera 'Barber of Sevile'. The layout of the hall was good & they evening provided subtitles above the stage...pretty cool if you were Norwegian. The concert hall is beautiful and the structure in the centre is a beautiful work of art. There is a subtle steam punk meets modern minimalist look to the architecture which I found really beautiful. The service was exceptional and well organized. We ordered our drinks before going in and by the time the break came our drinks were by an assigned table waiting. Now that's what I call service. Its a must see if in Stavanger.

I visited the Concert Hall with my partner and my daughter on Constitution Day, 2017.
Although hundreds were dressed in national costume and enjoying celebratory parades, members of the Concert Hall staff took time off from the celebrations to open the theatre and give us an impromptu guided tour. A memorable visit to a wonderful building.

Apart from those in the café, we were the only ones in. We were told that we could go upstairs and wander at our will. What a spectacular place it is. Magnificent and futuristic.

As concert halls go, this modern, spacious building, with its comfortable seats, plush bars and excellent auditoriums, must be second to none. The acoustics were tremendous, the temperature and climate control spot on and the decor, stage and viewing of that stage perfect.
If you get the chance, treat yourself to a concert experience in Stavanger!

This complex is breathtaking. There was no expense spared in the building of this magnificent amenity. The main concert hall was visually beautiful in every way, from the polished wood, the purple velvet seating with individual air conditioning to the modern organ behind the stage. Acoustic are superb too. The foyer and bar area is ideal for more informal concerts and the second hall doubles as a theatre, and has a vast floor area. Take a guided tour to get the most of your visit.
