Tiny cafes, restaurants, shops and pubs. Out door serving, and a great atmosphere. In winter, there is lot’s of outdoor lightning hanging as a roof over the street

Really quite special little street with a handful of non-chain small cafes and bars, very colorful and nice place for a cup of coffee/tea, handmade chocolate or a little lunch. Best in earlt summer and sunny weather for outdoor sitting.

This street was reborn when someone got the idea to paint all the buildings in bright colors. OvreHolmegate is now lined with shops, restaurants, and bars. There is even a mural there from the guy who ultimately went to Facebook to paint murals and was...More

Must be great when it gets lively in the evening. It was early morning when I went there and the street was totally empty. So different from the other side of the harbour. The only word that comes to mind to describe it is peculiar,...More

From a boring place it is turning into a picturesque neighborhood. Colorful buildings and coffee shops and trendy restaurants. While walking around it’s nice to visit this small neighborhood especially on such a sunny day like today

This street is a great place to experience the life and joy of the people in Stavanger. The street is famous for its colourful houses and niche bars. Truly worth a visit.

This colorful street is a must-see in a nearly complete white city. Be aware: in Norway shops/bars don't open until 11am. So don't bother waking up early to see this street. It's much nicer to see when everything is open in the afternoon.
