Opens 0800 even on weekends. Very helpful staff who dont even seem annoyed at the tedium of telling people the same stuff over and over. They can book things for you or just give advice.

We visited Stavanger whilst cruising the Norwegian Fjords. The Tourist information office is located right next to the dock where the ships dock. There is lots of information here and the Norwegian people are so friendly and welcoming.

We bought ferry tickets and asked loads of questions about the touris attractions around from the office and the lady was helpful. We bought a nice card to keep the memory of the awsome trip too.
