Nice performance with virtual reality glasses
Aug. 2021 • Couples
It was worth seeing the performance through virtual reality glasses. Also to get acquainted with this technique. The host was very nice and helpful.

A visit we will never forget
Aug. 2021 • Family
Norwegian history meeting digital inventions in a brilliant way. Who needs a big museum when you can do it like this? Absolutely something for the future. Very nice reception by the straff and very good with children as well. Worth every minute of our time. Thank you so much!! Our warmest recommendations.

A great stop whilst in town
Dec. 2020
This was so much fun. A great little visit whilst down in the centre of town. We went there with our two kids. They loved it! Especially the oldest one. A great way to learn more about our history. And it was such a lovely boat with the carvings and all. AND the gift shop. LOVED the gift shop. Great stuff for both young and old and at really good prices.

Stavanger Vikings virtual reality tour 8th March 2020
Mar. 2020
We visited as the last cruise liner to be able to one ashore before Norway closed ports How lucky were we
As a wheel chair user I was gratified that access to this attraction was made into an easy fashion The staff were most helpful in ensuring my safe entry into the tour and also ensuring the headphones and glasses were in the correct position to enable me to experience what was an amazing highlight of my holiday
Thank you and Thank you to Norway for being so wheel chair friendly
Highly recommend

Great way to spend time in Stavanger
Mar. 2020
Having spent time wandering around Stavanger, I had a short amount of time to spend before having to return to my cruise ship. I decided to do the VR experience at the Viking House. This is a short VR movie that describes the saga of Harald Fairhair and you sit in a mock Viking longboat whilst the film plays out via your VR headset and headphones. The staff at the experience were very helpful and friendly and although short, it was a great experience. Once the film had completed, there was an opportunity to sit on the throne at the end of the ship and hold a replica Viking sword. Outside the experience is a small gift shop with well priced gifts. I would recommend this if you're in Stavanger and have a bit of time to spare.

Made me understand the beauty of VR
Mar. 2020
I was lucky to get to try the VR-experience at Viking House on a business trip with upnorway.com to Stavanger. The experience felt surrealistic and it was super exciting to be able to feel as if I was a viking while old sagas were illustrated and told. Has to be experienced to be understood. The shop, the wooden carvings and the service also added value to the experience.

Exciting Viking experience
Dec. 2019 • Family
I visit Viking house with my son, husband and father in law. The employees was welcoming and helpful. A lot of handmade and beautiful things for sale. Needlebinding, Viking jewellery, and other local products. The new version of the movie was really good. A lot of new animations.
