Local aquarium with lots of sealife creatures is a good attraction for kids. Good idea for spending free time, you can see there cute pinguins and show with sea animals.

Small for its size but very well organized, the focus is local sea life. The aquarium section is probably the smallest I have come across in similar establishments whereas the open-air seashore section with the seals is among the biggest and best I have seen. The Sea Park felt unique, it gave ample space for few exhibits instead of the... More

The biggest Atlantic's sealife aquarium is very interesting, with a lot of activities and information for the whole family. Stay to watch the seals, penguins and fishes being fed, it worth it.

We went there late october and the children loved it. The fish species are mainly nordic so you won't find a shark tunnel or anything like that. The outside area is amazing and the sealions and dolphins got their homes right at the seashore. There's a big sandbox with a burried whaleskeleton for the kids to excavate and a large... More

I have visited better aquariums, but I found the setting of the aquarium very beautiful in the nature. Also, I learned not only about life in the sea, but also about different eagles. We were there on a Saturday, and we were able to watch the show With the diver at 1 p.m. But unfortunately the feeding of the Penguins... More

A great experience for both kids and adults. Even if you are not superinterested in life in the sea, the sheer beauty of light and colour in the watertanks is awesome. The sea park opened in 1998, attracts about 140 000 visitors every year and is open 360 days a year. In 2013 it was voted the best aquarium in... More

I walked to Atlanterhavsparken, that's what this great place is called in Norwegian. Even though there is a shuttle available from the tourist office at Skateflukaia and/or the Alesund Bus station, I chose to walk all the way in order to truly appreciate and enjoy Norway's amazing nature. The Park itself was great. One experience which I never had before... More

The Atlantic Sea Park is a nice place in beautiful surroundings. The children loved it for maybe 2 or 3 hours, but then they asked; "is this all?" The aquariums with all sorts of fish from the north atlantic is great. The children also loved the activity room, where it is possible to fish crabs and touch lobster and other... More

We took the hop-on/hop-off bus and stopped off at the Sea Park. It was cute, and we were there in time for the fish feeding, which was entertaining. We also enjoyed the seals and the puffins. (Or penguins? I'm not sure which.) It was a good choice to pass 30 minutes or so. The main drawback is that it is... More

We have been to Ålesund Atlantic Sea Park a few times and its worth a visit. Not a full day entertainment maybe, but to kill a few hours its perfect! Lot of Norwegian fishes and a few exotic as well. Miss some more seals in the seal pool. Also miss the reptile exhibition that where present before! But all in... More
