We took one of the Hardanger tours with train, bus and ferry. Very well synchronized . It was a long day but well worth it. Lovely scenery and a worthwhile visit to the Hardangervidda Museum. Also stopped to see the Vøringfoss ( waterfall )

Hardfangerfjorden is a landscape photographers' dream. A stunning mixture of sea and landscape, with the wide fjord giving way to mountain vistas at every turn and the Hardangervidden National Park in there too with its glacial landscapes. An area not to be missed if travelling to Norway.

Beautiful fjord, especially in Winter! The countryside is very beautiful around this area and worth a visit when in Bergen.

Amazing vibe to all fjords in Norway, which I have had the chance to travel through from the south to the north, and back. I would not recommend doing it in large groups, unless this arrangement gives you a bit of space for yourself and privacy to really enjoy it in a peaceful fashion. This is journey best made on... It was admittedly the last cruise of the year to the Fiords and so the weather was changing, it rained non stop and so Bergen could not be seen at its best. Sadly we found the last bit of the cruise a challenge with force 9 gales and much rolling of the vessel. However that said, we loved the ship... More

We were looking for a fjord to visit by car within easy driving distance of Bergen. This is it! Take Highway 7 from the E-16 for a very scenic trip.

Make sure that there is one fjord in your future, - The Hardanger Fjord! We went as a family to fall in love with the scenery, the fjord and the mountains, and we bought a summer home in Jondal not far from the glacier Folgefonn.

We went here for a Sundaytrip in June 2016, and I have to say that this is the most beautiful Place I have been. Really fantastic views and locations. Must see place in Norway.

This mediocre review isn't as much of an indictment against Hardanger Fjord itself as it is the amount of time it takes away from exploring Bergen and other areas that aren't as far away. While parts of the Hardangerfjord were beautiful, overall, it all looks the same after an hour or so. We did not feel that an entire day's... More

Norway in a nutshell was our full day trip I am so glad we did it and sad it had to end. Some of the most beautiful moments offered by nature and local views ever. It is a long day and freezing on the boat. The interior of boat is so well prepared for passengers and families. We would go... More
