If you are in to hiking, you will love going to Mount Ulriken in the cable car. You can get there either by a bus tour package or just taking a taxi from downtown. After you are done, you can call for a taxi to...More

If you want to look around the Bergen from the top - you must up in Ulriken. Beautiful, interesting. Also on the top you can find the coffee. And the wild nature also. So all in one, try this!

The views here are great and higher up than the funicular. Our only problem was that it was our last afternoon and the queue was so long we almost had to leave before getting to the front. The cable car can't take many people at...More

We bought our tickets a little ahead of time and caught the bus near the tourist info center. it's a short ride to the mountain. The line and cable car moved along quickly. The initial views overlooking Bergen are similar to those from Mt Floyen...More

We were lucky enough to go up on a beautiful sunny day and the views were excellent. Sunny days and days when cruise ships arrive are likely to mean long queues, though - we queued for just under 2 hours. As the day was so...More

The bus trip is nothing special (only 10 minutes) but the cable car ride is good and the views are great when you reach the top. The coffee shop at the top is good and not a rip off.

The queue didn't seem that bad, but the two gondalas only take 15 people every 10 minutes at best, (7 mins trip and 3 mins turnaround). All the foods and stores also go up so space for two or three people can be reduced each...More

This mountain is one of the classic 7 moubtains surrounding Bergen. The top can be reached by cable car. Return ticket costs 170 NOK for an adult. There's not enough parking near the cable car, but there's a dedicated Ulriken bus going from the city...More

The lines get long. Be sure to get here early or you will have a long line to wait in to get up the mountain. But, it's worth it. The views are amazing. And, keep in mind, you can hike up instead. There is a...More

We got a 50% discount with our Bergen Card - it was all very efficient - only a couple of seats on car and lots of stairs so probably not suitable for anyone with mobility problems - mostly all standing (14) in the cable car...More

I think it might be difficult for her. If my memory serves me correctly there are stairs to get up to the cable car. Once on top of Ulriken there are more stairs and some pavement, but lots of uneven terrain. Good luck
