In the winter, it's like walking in a Dickens novel with a clear high point at Christmas season. It's also amazing in the summer time.

With charming wooden houses, a great ice cream parlor and a very nice beach, Drøbak is a great place to visit - especially in the summer.

We stayed in Oslo, bought a two day bus ticket which allowed us to travel to Drobak, approximately 60 minutes drive from Oslo. Good scenic road. Town centre small, not many shops. Main attraction is the Christmas shop (Julehuset) next to library. Mostly handmade items...More
