Close to the Royal Palace stands the Norwegian Parliament Building. It's architecturally interesting and is set in an almost park-like setting. I didn't feel like there were a lot of sights to interest the average tourist, but this was one of the few I found...More

It is the second dominant of Karl Johans Gate. This building stands out with its beautiful interesting architecture. After walking through the square (in the direction to the Central Station) you will stand in front of it.

Stortinget is right downtown, made of beautiful yellow stone and guarded by two iconic lion statues. The interior is artistic and architecturally stunning.

Situated in the middle of central Oslo it's easily found. Karl Johans Gata runs right beside. there's a little park in front, which is used by many as a thoroughfare or simply just to sit and people watch.

Each in this city is a good place to take a walk. It's clean, convenient and safe. Few people and relaxing atmosphere, how I wish we could stay much longer on this fine city.

An interesting afternoon with acting out simultation of the voting processs in the Parliament decision making with dealing and wheeling during the decicion-makings. The sightseeing of the building was done before we arrived.

This is a magnificent building set in Karl Johans Gate, a beautiful construction easy access for walking as it set in a pedestrianised zone, not open to visitors during the week days.

The most fantastic about this building is that it seems to be unprotected. It is located in the center of the city, a beautiful old building. It is the history of democracy in Norway.
