Not a very large botanical garden, but well worth a visit at almost any time of the year, especially spring and autumn. In winter you risk just seeing snow, but the trees are beautiful with leafless but snow covered black branches. Rather mediocre cafe in...More

Lovely little gardens situated in Oslo. Plenty of beautiful natural sites in the middle of town with a museum and greenhouses nearby for you to explore. Would be very romantic for couples but also mince for groups looking for a relaxing stroll.

Lovely area of beauty...cool houses of different species of plants. Love the cactus house. Enjoyed wandering around the outside grounds, watching bees doing their thing.

The leaves were so pretty and they just summed up my holiday. The green house was so pretty and I got some good photos. My brother was happy to play with sticks.

Both free entry and offering a restful welcome to the city. We found the autumn colours beautiful and the park a peaceful oasis - a downhill walk takes you back into the centre of town.

Amazing grounds with a nice waterfall area. Interesting vine sculptures and lots of varieties of plants well marked. Nicely manicured. A café for a light lunch though a bit pricey, however the grounds are free.

A mere steady walk from Oslo city centre brings you to this large park divided into many interesting gardens and indoor collections. The park also contains a range of sculptures and is a very restful charming place to walk.

We did not find it easy to find the gardens and there seemed to be a lack of signage to get to it and to find the way in when we were there. But it was worth the exploration! It is an interesting park with...More
