We enjoyed walking in the marina! The view is beautiful and there are lots of restaurants where you can sit and enjoy some nice food and a beer.

Modern Oslo with a lot of restaurants, excellent views, best to enjoy on sunny days. You can even go to the near by shopping malls if you feel too cold.

Aker Brygge, built in the eighties, has inspired several popular residential areas around the Nordic region.Earlier it was then an old yard where some minor industrial activity. Here, Oslo residents and tourists mix with the wide range of restaurants and shops.

In winters if you are lucky enough to have sun lights, enjoy your day near the Aker Brygge. You can even go to the near by shopping malls to enjoy the shopping and amples of eating joints near by.

If you visit Oslo, you must go here. Views of the Fortress, fjord, restaurants, pubs, and a boardwalk. I visited in winter but it was lovely. The weather is reasonable, around zero degrees but very little wind. Not much snow to deal with. The area...More

Aker Brygge is beautiful and the spot to go for a walk in the spring, summer og early fall. Stay away during the winter. You will most likely find the restaurants to be overpriced and not get the quality you deserve for the amount you...More

Avoiding the big cities will save you a little fortune as long as you keep away beverages containing alcohol. All in all Norway is more expensive than GB, but well worth a visit.
