It was quite interesting experience of local culture. Guide was extremely friendly. He is confident in local food and gave many useful suggestions about good restorants nearby. Also was very interesting to listen about city history when we walked between "tasting points" - the city...More

For me, this is both a food and culture tour. We learned about Bunad dresses, Norway's quickly evolving economy and the challenges it faces becoming integrated with the rest of the world. We tasted the unusual for US travelers like brown cheese, elk, reindeer and...More

A great tour for exposure to Norwegian cuisines, culture and history. We used the tour as an orientation to the city plus a few extras. Solomon was a very entertaining and informative host.

I was very disappointed with this tour. The guide, while very interesting, was not very knowledgeable about food. We met and he explained the structure of the tour - market, chocolate, Christmas table, then a craft brewery. This sounded great. We arrived at the market...More

It might be difficult. Most of it is open space (although a decent walk), but sometimes they go into shops to taste the chocolate. I cannot remember if it had stairs in the shop.
