Great Food Hall. A visit to the Hopyard is a must whist at this venue to sample the craft beers they have available. Visited the week before Christmas 2023. Great service from the bar manager.

We chanced upon this food hall as we had found Vulkanfisk for dinner. It is a huge hall with loads of food options in a trendy area. Good prices for Norway so worth a walk. Only took us 15 minutes from centre.

This is a great place to be if you are with friends and dont want to walk much. We visited this place right after we arrived in Oslo. The market is very modern, not such a typical market but with that style. Food stands and beer places are all over the place. The river along is else very cool... Our hotel was just next to it so we were so lucky to be in such a great location.

We visited Mathallen Oslo on our walk following the river from Sognsvann back to the city. A perfect pit stop - a great selection of places to eat and drink where you could buy from multiple vendors and enjoy together. The food we ordered (gyoza from Hong's Bao Bao, and beef noodles from a different place - sorry, can't recall the name) were both very tasty. And we enjoyed a beer from Hop Yard. Standard prices for Norway (maybe slightly cheaper than traditional restaurants) in a fun, lively but relaxed environment. One of our best foodie experiences in Oslo.

I have been the food hall in other cities. This one was bigger and have more food choices. I arrived at lunch time during weekday. It was not too many people and we could walk around the hall easily. We tried a restaurant inside the hall called Helt Vilt. The food was tasty, the environment was comfortable and the staff was friendly. Location: It is easy to go by tram from the central station to here. If you are not tried, you can walk from the central station to here too. Food choices: You can check its website to know the restaurant there before you decide to come. I saw some tourists who could not find anything they liked after a while. It is also a place suitable for family. Surrounding: The surrounding of food hall is also good for photography.
