Our trip there by the metro train felt more like an alpine railway by the time we got to the Holmenkollen station. We spent a interesting Sunday morning visiting the ski museum loads to see and do. You must go to the top of the ski jump if only for the views over Oslo. If you are brave enough you... More

When the snow has disappeared you can go here for the view over Oslo and the fjord. However the trees around the area do block the views somewhat

Choose to go on a sunny day... Although not particularly close to Oslo City centre, it's certainly worth going. Easy metro access makes it a pleasant half day trip. Once you've reached the Ski Jump Tower, you can try the simulator ride situated within the complex. Whether you're on your own or with family & friends, it's super safe &... More

This was recommended almost by everyone who has visited Oslo. We went there by tram and the view along the was great. The walk uphill was nice because of the view. But the highlight part was the view from the top, omg, AMAZING. This is not to be missed.

I don't want to complain about the cost again but I can't help but paying about 80 US dollars to go to the top isn't all that worth it. The architecture and engineering is fascinating, but you can just go to the two ski jumps next to this to marvel at that. The museum is meh. I would enjoy just... More

Take a tram up the hillside and enjoy the views and then a walk to the ski jump. The shop and museum were closed when we visited as it was after 5.00pm. Scary if you don't like heights so stay aware from the edge like I did. My son took the steps down to the bottom of the jump and... More

This historic place is well worth a visit it will bring you back to the Olympics in Oslo Norway from Winter 1990s. Great view of the Norwegian culture gives you an insight of how well rounded and athletic this culture breeds it's people year round!
