It's expensive to go on, which is par for the course in Oslo but for the money I would've expected a human tour guide rather than the headphones set up. It was a beautiful sunny day but they left the roof on! Saw a lot of the city though which was the whole point.

My mum and I opted for the 2 hour boat trip at roughly £29 each. It was expensive but all of Oslo is. The boat was so lovely! You could buy refreshments also. The tour was really good and the scenery was just beautiful. Staff were lovely too. Would definitely recommend this trip. Very informative and picturesque. A must-do excursion... More

The tour takes about 1.5 hours, taking you around the main museums, buildings and sites at Oslo. It's a good way to build an idea of the main part of the city and if you utilise the 2-day hop on, hop off allowance, it is also a very handy way of getting around. The tour guide's information on the headset... More

I was in Oslo on 3rd Sept weekend and dediced to hang around with my friends to view the City. Please note that Oslo is expensive city and is not as cheap as other european countries hence moving in a taxi is nto a good Idea. So we took the Hop on Hop Off bus which costed us 285 NOK... More

We were sold tickets on site for the hop on/off bus. Every single bus that came was already full to capacity and nobody else was allowed on. Never were able to get on. Requested refund on site. Request denied. Ticket agent said they can sell tickets but have no capability to issue refunds or credits for other times/places, etc. Ticket... More

We use hop on off buses on most city breaks to get a feel for the area and the history and as a means of deciding where we want to spend more time. This was probably the worst one we've done. The bus itself was fine, but the commentary was next to useless, seemed to do nothing more than promote... More

Not the most motivated drivers. If you are a fossil, then it is good for you, but Oslo is compact enough that we ditched this bus and took public buses back to where we wanted to go. Let your guidebook be your leader, not the pre-recorded tour. We only decided to go on the tour because we had been awake... More

We'd planned to take taxis to get around Oslo, but those are hard to find. So, after taking a ferry to Museum Island and trekking between museums, we jumped on the HOHO to get off the island. We should have done that in the first place! Oslo is very easy to do on your own, and this bus gets you... More

If you are in Oslo I would recommend this tour as it takes you around the city and out to the museum district, which is not walkable from the city centre. If time is in short supply then you can see some of the city's highlights while if you have a few days you can see areas you'd like to... More
