Worth a visit if you are in Oslo. They do have good opera shows if that is your thing. The building is amazing. Take a trip up to the roof to see a magnificent view of Oslo.

How can one miss walking on this roof? What a view! Totally entertaining.

The lobby is interesting, but understated. Unfortunately, for a tourism visit, there is no opportunity to inspect the concert space

Do walk to the back and Harborside parts of the building. The costuming, wig making, makeup and other support staff functions are at street level. A grand way to see the people at work in preparing for the opera.

Worth a stop even if you do not see a show. Go inside and see the wood paneling, also walk on the roof great 360 views of Oslo. Consider this a must stop.

Interesting, unusual architecture. You can climb to the top terrace for some nice views of the area. An iconic landmark of Oslo.

Very nice building that you can walk completely up to the top and see beautiful skyline of Oslo. The architecture is beautiful and it is centrally located in the city. Highly recommend you visit and walk around.

It's a marvelous building to see, totally accessible and "alive" during the day or night. As a Greek, it completely surprised me the fact that people in the wintertime, swim in the waters of port! Crazy

An amazing architectural result. At the head of the Oslofjord, this stunning modern building of Italian white marble and granite is a must see when visiting Oslo. You can walk up on to the roof but tread carefully in wet weather. There are steps and foot treads to make it less dangerous. Great views from the top of the building down the Fjord and across the City. Has the appearance of an iceberg at the end of the Fjord. Very impressive.

Unfortunately it was closed the day we visited but no doubt worth a visit inside and to a performance if you ever have the opportunity.
