The landscapes are amazing, the trains, bus and cruise run all on schedule and they are comfortable. My only comment that I would have loved to enjoyed a walk by the mountains between the different means of transport. Overall me and my family loved it

It takes a lot of skill to blow the best scenery in the world on a day tour but these guys have done it. This tour could be so much better, so easily. You are trapped in a number of buses and boats for hours at a time. do you think they could have a live guide giving fascinating commentary... More

This self-guided tour had amazing scenery and I was snapping a lot of great pics. I just felt they had overbooked our tour that day as there was HUNDREDS of tourists, a lot of them were pushing and shoving to get into the coaches and onto the cruise boat as people are fighting for the best spots which spoilt the... I debated for a while whether to do the classic Norway in a Nutshell or the Sognefjord in a Nutshell. On the one hand, doing the Norway in a Nutshell gives you a variety of modes of transport (bus, train, cruise), and a variety of scenery including the Stalheimskleiva hairpin turns (May-September only). On the other hand, we already knew... More

This was the trip of a lifetime and I'm so glad we did it. We went on the Bergen Railway, Flam Railway, saw a beautiful waterfall (Kjosfossen), spent an afternoon in Flam and then a few hours on a boat travelling through Sognefjord. It was a real adventure and the views took our breath away and we will remember them... More

If you only have a few days in Norway, take this tour. If you have a good amount of time in Norway...still take this tour. The train, ferry, and bus connections are well organized so it's pretty easy to get from one leg of the trip to another. And the scenery is stunning. This is a wonderful way to get... More

This is the best way to see Norway if you only have a couple of days. Our group joined the one way tour from Oslo to Bergen with Norway in a nutshell. When I realized that the ticketing office may be closed before I arrive in Oslo, the customer service efficiently mailed our tickets to me in Canada weeks in... More

We booked and paid the trip well in advance, the confirmation stated the hours to pick up the tickets. We arrived in these hours to find closed doors(turned our office hours changed, and no one cared to send an email about it), then we started calling customer service. The lady at the customer service only advised to board the train... More

Everything planned seamlessly and enjoyed the views and scenery. However when we went to go on the fjord tour the boat never arrived. The ticket offices did not have clear information. There was another boat going straight to bergen, however the staff was also not clear and told us we had to pay another $820. The confusion and lack of... More

Dear shelby k, Thank you so much for the review- glad to hear that you enjoyed your trip. Sorry to hear about the hiccups with the boat. This is very rarely a problem, but I can understand that this was frustrating to you. Still - it sounds like you enjoyed most of the tour! Kind regards Fjord Tours More
