Truly amazing, very well designed and maintained botanical garden just downhill from Tromso University. We visited in morning hours (cold day) while frost was still on the plants. Very much like a "fairyland" experience! Though most plants were dormant, many fall colors still amazed! Delightful...More

It was a gloomy and rainy day when we visited. This garden managed to raise our spirits even though. Cannot imagine how it'll be during the summer season when all the flowers all blooming. Walk here from the city centre if you intend to hit...More

The botanical garden is very well landscaped and informative. And even though many of the plants there were not in bloom/frozen at this time of the year, it was still worth going there. Don't miss the geology walk -- it's a lot of fun too!

This is a very nice and relaxing place to visit in Autumn. If you love plants and flowers you cannot miss it! Bring your snack, sit in a bench and enjoy the beautiful view :)

This is said to be the most northerly Botanical Garden . I spent a relaxing couple of hours here. Lots of interesting plants very well presented. A bit out of town- you will need a bus

I believe it is the northern most botanical garden in Europe if not the world. It was lovely with beautiful flowers and plants of all types nicely done and easily accessible walking through the different levels on nice walking trails.
