We started out as a home for dogs in 1988, since then our passion for dogs and life in the nature has taken us on an exilerating journey. Today we're one of Tromso's leading tourist destinations with over 300 dogs. Our main tours are with the dogsleds but we also have Northern Lights tours and snowshoe rentals.

In the summer we have Kayak trips, a wide range of tours and hikes with our huskies and puppies as well as glacier hikes. We'll provide warm clothes on all our tours to keep you warm while enjoying the Arctic Nature.

It was an amazing adventure on a sled with the dogs. We get positive emotions. Very polite and friendly staff. A good tour organization. I liked everything: dog sledding, stories guide, lunch. I was lucky with the weather. There was a lot of snow. Beauty around and high spirits! I`ll would recommend this tour!

We enjoyed our night at the camp, dogs were friendly and there were also some puppies. Ivan, our guide, has been extremely knowledgeable about auroras, pointed out to some and then looked after us during the whole dinner and free time. Good value for the money!

I chose Norther light with the husky visit - Loved everything about it- Our guide was funny and very knowledgeable about Northern Lights and the dogs- the food (bacalao) was delicious - all together an excellent experience.

Dogsledging was fun and relaxing in the winterwonderland of Kvaløya. We also visited the cutest puppies ever and ate sami Bidos for lunch. Great experience!

The trip involved a short coach trip, maybe 20 minutes to the centre; we split into 2 groups; we got a husky ride of about 1 hour first which was great fun; our guide was really knowledgeable and you could tell how much he cared for his dogs; when we got back, we were pretty cold, so went into their... We booked the husky sledding experience at the Wilderness Centre and enjoyed every minute. The day starts with a coach ride from the centre of Tromsø, it's around 30 mins to the centre. It is a large, outdoor centre right in the wilderness and you really get a feeling of being away from the city, we were lucky with the... More

Absolutely brilliant! A highlight of a not so brilliant cruise. The whole set up was amazing, team were very, very helpful especially on the ice. The dogs were captivating and the sledging itself was breathtakingly fab! Thank you for amazing memories!

We loved the dog sledding - so much fun and the dogs were so sweet. They give you suits to keep warm, but I would recommend wearing a hat, gloves, super warm socks, and a scarf to cover your cheeks because it's about 45 mins out with the dogs and it's cold. You can easily bring your phone/small camera with... More
