We started out as a home for dogs in 1988, since then our passion for dogs and life in the nature has taken us on an exilerating journey. Today we're one of Tromso's leading tourist destinations with over 300 dogs. Our main tours are with the dogsleds but we also have Northern Lights tours and snowshoe rentals.

In the summer we have Kayak trips, a wide range of tours and hikes with our huskies and puppies as well as glacier hikes. We'll provide warm clothes on all our tours to keep you warm while enjoying the Arctic Nature.

A large and well organised facility for this type of activity. I did the full day sled, which I would highly recommend as the morning sled looks very rushed. You get to ride your own sled which is a lot of fun. Our guides Ben and Tim were good fun and provided all the expertise needed on the day. You... More

They were so excited to go for a ride, the musher was very kind and happy to answer our questions to know about their style of life. Huskies are amazing athletes and to see them and ride with them in their natural enviroment is just A GREAT EXPERIENCE , to do dog sledding is a MUST DO while you visit... More

After much debating, my husband, 18 year old niece and I decided to book the daytime dogsled drive, where we would be taught to mush and drive the sleds ourselves, rather than being driven by a guide, and we were so glad we did! Upon arrival, we were given full body suits and boots to put on (so no need... More

We stayed overnight at Vilmarkssenter in a private tent and it was far and beyond anything we expected! It was a lush wooden cabin in the midst of trees with gorgeous snow, reindeer hide for the bed, candles and the gorgeous huskies next door. We were surprised to be visiting the sled dogs that night and receiving 1 on 1... More

Such the special experience that we had in here that we saw the lights with warm open air fire and the dogs. It was nice that we spend in lavuu so that we were able to stay late at night far from city of tromso and keep an eye on beautiful sky above.

An interesting, exhilarating experience. I 'mushed', something I never thought I'd do and my grandchildren are very impressed! The trip was very well organised and the snacks were just right. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Pity the photos were so expensive.

We booked an evening winter ride through Hurtigruten. The actual dog sled ride was 25 mins tops, not what we expected for 200 euros per pax. Same price-ride at Kirkenes lasted 2+ hours... Not recommended

Spent a beautiful pre sunrise morning sledding with Tromso Husky's on 5th Jan 2017. Weather was perfect and the whole event was well organised and lots of fun. We had never done this before and were nervous but no need. We would 100% recommend.

Prompt pick up from a central hotel, accurate paperwork, quick coach trip. Snow boots and suits available free. The the ride with the dogs - wow. I had not expected 10 smallish dogs to pull 3 of us so fast! Choice of ride or drive. Then lots of time to meet and pet dogs and puppies before food in a... More
