Nice trip with cable car up on the mountain and a fantastic view over Narvik. There is a small restaurant where you can get something to eat.

Plan on loud, obnoxious children whose parents are irresponsible and inconsiderate to folks travelling with an interest in the wonder of nature. BUT . . . Even icky children and worse parents cannot spoil the night sky that requires spf 18 and a willingness to...More

The cable-car operates year round with a restaurant at the top station. In the skiing season this is the base for ski-lifts to take you further up and in the Summer you can trek from here.

Very good staff, the trolley goes to the highest possible point and the views from there are spell binding to say the least. Make sure you wear adequate clothing as the place is windy and chilly

It is worth taking the trip up in the gondola, which is fairly quick, for the views from the top. It is a popular ski resort with the locals.

Amidst the snow we first viewed the town before travelling with a group to the ski lift. The surface approaching the entrance was very slippery and one had to watch cars manoeuvring in the car park. Locals must have been very annoyed for as a...More

This gondola ride takes you up 656 metres above sea level! When we were at the bottom, which seamed fairly calm, we were warned that if it was too windy at the top we would have to walk back down! After a gentle ride up...More
