We travelled in October, when weather is still pretty good, Northern Lights are very possible, and tourists are significantly fewer. All pros in our opinion! Lofoten Island was so beautiful it was captivating. I wanted to stay for much longer to take advantage of the great weather we had on the day making our stay perfect.

The scenery here is amazing. Unfortunately it was raining all day so that was not so good. However, late afternoon we got blue skies as we sailed past these amazing islands. Stunning scenery all round.

We had been thinking of visiting Lofoten for some time and finally got around to doing it this summer. There is so much natural beauty here that you will want to stop every couple of miles to take pictures. Unlike other parts... More
