Visiting some friends from Kroderen I had the occasion the meet the nicest team from Kroderen railway station and find more about trains.

The most important thing is That they are working. Spending a lot of money from the state, comune and not only. Doing some trips with old card near to the lake till forest where you Dont have a nice view. The tickets cost 220 nok...More

We were about 100 people travelling together, many disabled old inhabitants of the area. The trip went from Vikersund to Krøderen, and we enjoyed the stay in Krøderen rail museum as well.

For everybody with an interest in historic steamengines a trip with Krøderbanen is a relaxing way to enjoy the Norwegian countryside. A great day out for the entire family, just 60 minutes from Oslo.
