We followed the Norway National Tourist Route going through the park, on a fine summer day. The view is wonderful and really fills us with calm and joy. Rolling hills, everything is green and lush ...

We hiked from the hut to Veslesmeden (2015 m) on August 3rd. Nice hike. Beautiful scenery. Must be prepared. Once one starts the steep ascend on the last 1/3 of the trail it can get challenging. Temperature at the top drops quite dramatically. In early August we really regretted not having gloves as we pushed to the top. Snow and... More

Fantastic national park to go hiking in. The scenery is breathtaking and the mountain walks challenging but also accessible. Huts are good too.

This location is away from everything, it soothes the soul and makes you want to leave the civilization forever. There is several different wild animals, plants, herbs... It's beautiful even when it's cloudy and misty, very dramatic. Love this place!

I spent a couple weeks in Norway, most of it driving and hiking in the Fjord region. But this park was the absolute highlight of that trip. I covered 24 km in one day of hiking (I choose trails with very little elevation change). It is one of those places where you can easily zone out and loose track of... More

Great views of Norwegian vegetation. Some paths aren't very well marked, but easy hills to just meander wherever you please. Still close to freezing temperatures mid May and very few people around.

We loved it. It was so unique and beautiful. Even in November place has a lot to offer. Unusual climate. There's so much to see there. Unfortunately they don't allow to drive in many places what makes it impossible for kids or disabled to see park , except of few places. This should change. Except of that it is breath... More

We've been to the Rondane national park at the first 3 days of October, and it seemed like the exact definition of the word "Autumn" - orange leaves were all over the trees and there was a windy weather alongside massive flows at the rivers around the area. There was a crazy wind-storm on our way to the Rondeslottet peak... More
