Vienna is a magical place that I totally recommend. The imperial place is great to walk through to soak up the sights. I call the Town Hall the "Hogwarts" of Vienna. You definitely have to see this place at night to understand!

This is quite some city hall! Wonderful, soaring towers and huge gothic arches contrast with the classical, pillared design of the parliament building next door. Surrounded by exquisite, manicured gardens.

The City Hall is the head office of Vienna's municipal administration. More than 2000 people work in the building. You can visit the magnificent appointments of the state rooms, which frequently provide an atmospheric backdrop to various events such as press conferences, concerts or balls.

A truly enormous and gorgeous architectural statement. A focal point on the Ringstrasse and was conducting a concert on the tarmac in front on our visit.

I was in Vienna for 5 days. Our hotel is right behind the Rathaus, but I did not see the entire building up close! The reason for this was the enclosure surrounding the building in the event of Live Ball /Vienna Pride/. The culmination was...More

Greetings fellow TripAdvisers, Would you be able to tell me if I can visit Rathaus whenever I want or do I need a guy and come at 1PM? How long does the visit last with and without a guide? Thank you in advance.
