The park is worthwhile to visit. A well design garden area, beautiful trees, many places that invite for a relaxing rest, and of course the visit to the tower with a great panorama view over Vienna. On a sunny afternoon it is one of the most enjoyable places in town.

Walked through part of this park on the way to the Donauturm and thought it looked very well kept with its flowers and green spaces. We saw more from the top of the tower and saw a miniature railway, playground and a lake. Great place to spend a morning or afternoon.

Had such a great time, just before the sunset when it is not so hot but still sunny and the air is clear and you can see everything I mean everything in Vienna. The best part is that everything seems so small from up there, people seem like ants- people ants..different perspective something that you should totaly visit in Vienna.

Have a look all around. Formal, water and wild gardens. Plenty of butterflies and bugs. But for the kids is a huge play area with giant slides climbing frames of all shapes and sizes.

I loved this place in Vienna. A beautiful and diverse park, with ducks, swans, water lillys. If l will ever go back to Vienna in summer l would like to spend an entire day here, just relaxing and doing nothing.

A nice and relaxing park with access to the tower from one side and the United Nations from the other side. Multiple places for activities for children.

My favorite spot whenever in Vienna, on the Donauinsel, between the new and old Danube. Near the VIC ( Vienna International Center). Plentiful of grass and greeneries, parks and forests, clear water, few people weekdays while weekends locals pack up for picnic and BBQ. Perfect for a swim in the fresh water, kayaking or boating. Catch the sunset, I caught... More

Covered by a business/urban neighbourhood, the Donaupark is actually a great getaway during hot summer days. The Donau provdes a fresh breeze, and the park offers plenty of benches and picknicktables for everyone to share.
