Went into this store to look for some hard to find gourmet items. We found them in spades. Also noticed a fine selection of wines and alcohol, some chilled. Produce. Upstairs was a bakery, deli and cheese shop. We picked up a few items and had antipasti back at the hotel. Wanted to go back and load up on some... More

Meinl am Graben is not only a gourmet grocery, but has several, surprising, dining options to stumble upon. On the upper floors, tucked away behind the towers of products, you will find one of the best sushi and sashimi bars in Vienna, with seating only for about 8 guests. On the first floor (which is also the 2nd, depending upon... More

Every Cup of coffee come to you with a small coup of Soda water and a small Piece of brownies, what a lovely combination. If the employee do have much to do then maybe you will get your coffee a... An incredible selection of gourmet foods. The wine bar in the lower level is excellent with tasty appetizers. You can get lost in that store, especially at the cheese counter.

If you are a food lover and you are looking for international specialties this is the place to go. There are 2 floors to explore its lovely treats! It´s quite pricy but what do you expect from a place selling high quality food?

Super shop selling all kinds of delicacies. We had a drink upstairs at the very smart but not at all expensive bar.

Do you think of any luxury food you'd like? In Vienna there are 2 places to go then: either you go in the morning to the Naschmarkt (the food market), or during the day you can go to the Meinl am Graben supermarket. Chances are high you'll find what you want...from a vintage Port, to the best Beluga Caviar, or... More

This is the best known delicatessen shop in Vienna. On two floors, you can find a very wide selection of groceries, a café, a restaurant, and an ice-cream parlor. Most of the goods here you can buy in supermarkets (first of all, Spar Gourmet) or at the Naschmarkt, but there are actually some things you can't find anywhere else, or... More

Very centrally located and a lovely spot for some great local food shopping. Almost overwhelmed at the sheer volume available. Had a lovely time wandering around and picking little items. Make sure you don't miss the second floor - it is where the bakery is at!

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
