Yes, Stephansplatz is extremely busy and dining/shopping is priced at a premium, but if you go to Vienna, you really have to visit it. You can spend days visiting the stores, historical sites and dining, but you can also easily make this a day visit....More

This is really the heart of Vienna and to some extend also the heart of Austria. You won't want to miss it and you will be enchanted by the atmosphere that will embrace you.

The plaza is currently being resurfaced, which adds noise to an already bustling place. The place is heaving with tourists moving between the cathedral and the shops. The outside of the cathedral is magnificent, and the whole area has a vibe to it.

Vienna is quite expensive both for clothing & good Restaurants. That said, there is a great collection of all the top brand shops and good quality Restaurants. There is a buzz about the place, very pleasant to walk about and safe for the individual.

We spent there many hours only by walking and enjoying the excating atmosphere of this nice place. You can eat something small here, you can buy the best ice-cream in the world, you can buy a souvenir...you can visit Stephansdom.

This place is crowded with tourists and locals. It has a lot of cafes, restaurants and shops. The cafe across the St. Stephen cathedral has the best Weinerschnitzel so far.
