We had a lovely time wandering round this lively, interesting quarter looking for lunch! There's a variety of eateries, and we had some good, traditional Austrian food & wine. Surrounded by galleries and museums, you can happily spend a day exploring here. Don't miss it!

This is a nice, relaxing place to get away from the hoards of tourists. There are a number of museums here, and it is just a short walk from Hofburg Palace. There are great cafes with outdoor seating, so I recommend stopping by for lunch,...More

This summer we especially enjoyed food festival that was taking place in front of MuseumsQuartier, as well as MiniGolf!

The open area is free, and during the time I went, it was basically dead of people, probably because they, unlike me, were hiding from the cold. It's cold. And windy. But don't let that stop you frolicking around! Just make sure you know where...More

You can find at least 4 huge museums within 2 minute walking distance. You can see old austrian art or modern international art, you can see dinosaur skeletons or rebuild mammuts or you can see famous art, anything that someone who loves art can imagine...More

Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries,
arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde
shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with
cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make
for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and
art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at
Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a
perfect hangout on a warm summer evening.

Yes! Free and beautiful. A fun place for a picnic. It would make sense to google if there is a Vienna card or some card that lowers the price of admissions. Some cities have that. I'm jealous you're going there. My absolute... More
