Beautiful building and gardens, worth a visit. Not far from the main city centre. Has a good restaurant for lunch and drink.

Loved this. The Palace was stunning, the gardens beautiful. A great setting for some fantastic exhibitions.

Of course there are the famous Klimts here but many other masters and impressionists that are worth of the visit. The grounds and large halls make the experience very enjoyable. This is a well run Museum without the overbearing formality of some of the great galleries. Lovely grounds to wander which probably look great in the summer.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time taking pictures outside the palace, and the exhibitions inside were very interesting. Lots of places around to eat, or you can eat at the restaurant inside the palace for a higher price but better food quality.

We were only in Vienna one full day and tried to do this after spending the day at the Palace. Just bought tickets to the upper and was told it would take like 2 hours or there about. I don't know if it is just because I was listening to every thing on the audio guide or what but I... More

To do the Belvedere justice you need a minimum of 2 hours, for both upper and lower combined. It is conveniently situated in the centre of Vienna easily accessible by tram (to the front gate) or on foot. Both parts of the Palace are worth visiting, with no clear favourite unless you favour the Klimt's and Impressionists more who are... More
