Wonderful for kids old and young. A bit like the London Eye but with a lot more class and history. Harry Lime was here in the Third Man film with its haunting theme. Also an amusement park

Large amusement park with mild to wild rides. Fast high scanty!! Very good for people watching. The famous Ferris wheel from the spy movie " The Third Man " is a must but beware the spitting man in the outhouse!

It is not like the London Eye but if in Vienna then a must visit. Although slow does give you a chance to see over tops of buildings. Next to a theme park of scary rides, madam tusaudes and other attractions

My daughter loved this! We just went on the big wheel as a family then gave her the chance to go on the swing seats... beware! They go so high and so fast! Well worth a trip on the wheel for the views over such...More

We were so glad that we took the time to ride the Prater as it is a classic. It is more than a ride, it is a way to get a slow view of Vienna.

We spotted the massive Ferris wheel from the Sky Bar in central Vienna & decided to make our way over by tram. We had no idea it was a full theme park until we arrived as our guide books only mentioned the wheel (Weiner Riensenrad)...More

Prater park itself is quite vast and we only had a few hours here, we therefore stayed mainly in the fairground part. We went straight on the big wheel as soon as it opened, we were glad we did because the queues were massive when...More

It is around 65 metres high which was gigantic in its time but rather dwarfed by today's ferris wheels. Being over 100 years old it has its own particular charm and history and is well worth the ride
