When you stop by the Burrgarten, let your inner Austrian Shine as you view the monument to the favored son.

Mozart - one of the icons of Vienna - not to be missed, the status is situated within a nice park and very close to other attractions! It's a good people watching place also.

Located in Burggarten, on the back of the new wing. It's not something especially, but you can see if you are nearby.

Statue of Mozart with a music symbol on the grass in front surrounded by multi coloured trees that are turning, what more could you ask for. There are chairs close by for you to sit and there are avenues of trees for a stroll in peace

A simple stop, but a must. The statue of Mozart, complete with music sign in front of it, is in the park that adjoins the Hofburg. A classic Vienna view.

Who could resist having their photo taken with Mozart? Sit on a bench, relax, and enjoy the surrounding greenery. Better yet if you have ear buds and his music playing.

This monument to the 1896 work of the Austrian sculptor Viktor Oskar Tilgner. It is located in the Royal garden, near the Albertina Museum and the Vienna State Opera. In front of the monument is a grassy area with flowers planted in the shape of violin key.

An excellent complement to the Burggarten was the superb statue to Mozart, one of Vienna's & Austria's favourite sons - well worth a visit - highly recommended.

The Burggarten is a former palace garden. Now it's a public park. A statue of Goethe is here too. If you are close by, walk through. Free.

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
