This Monument is one of the most photoraphed Monuments of the City . Because of Strauss the father of the Wiener Walzer but also because of a superstition thar freshly wed couples will be happy ever after

Find out about Strauss first and then visit the statue... nice statue well maintained... busy area which made it difficult to get a picture of it without someone walking into the shot!,

The park offers a very relaxed atmosphere and the cafe Strauss, on site, is a good place for a coffee. The statue itself is perfectly preserved and is situated close to the ‘Hop-on, hop-off’ bus stop. For music lovers, this is a must see.

The monument is well-preserved and beautifully shines in the center of the Stadtpark. You cannot miss is while taking a walk in the beautiful and relaxed greenery.

When stayed in Vienna, I walked by the monument everyday. It seems too popular to be good. But it is really important. Just like the Peeing Boy in Brussels, this statue is a symbol of Vienna. Tourists come here to take pictures with Johann Strauss....More
