Very important theatre, since it was dedicated to the royal family and court. Building is quite dominating, yet with lovely architecture, which is so typical for Vienna.

The Burgtheater is the Austrian National Theatre, it's a beautiful building located beside "The Ringstraße" opposite "The Vienna 's City Hall" The Burgtheater was created in 1741. Today the classic Burgtheater style restored after bombing in the Second World War.

We visited here and spent our time imagining what the burg was like in its golden age. The stage is magnificent and the exterior just as impressive. A must see.
