This is a small collection of truly outstanding works. Among them are a number of excellent Dutch and Flemish works by Ruisdael, Rubens, and others. It is right next door to the Secssion House, so stop by.

Even though not too touristy and rather small, this museum houses some real masterpieces, especially from some of the best 15th-18th centuries painters, including a spectacular triptych by Bosch. Don't miss!

I've long admired Bruegel and Bosch and loved seeing some of their most important paintings in this plain but exquisite space. It's on the top of an art college which gives it a special quality.

This is one of the best collections of fine and contemporary art in the world. It's very nicely presented, not overloaded but extremely well sorted. Take the opportunity of a guided tour e.g. Sunday mornings' - excellent guides take you through, it's even fun for teens, most interesting with great paintings. I once sat in front of Hieronymus Bosch for... More

In the final room, containing Hieronymus Bosch's Last Judgement, you will find an 11.5" x 16" sheet for you to take - a pad of them was stacked behind the door. On the sheet are some thumbnail photos of images you will have seen here, plus the text of the excellent narrative that is on the walls. Much of J.... More

While this is small and not a true "Art Museum" it is well worth the visit for art enthusiasts. The Bosch alone is worth the visit, plus it is small, quiet, and in a functioning and vibrant/authentic art facility.

Bosch's The Last Judgment is the clear draw here, but the rest of the collection of Old Masters is superb. If you have seen Bosch's other works, such as The Garden of Earthly Delights, this museum is a must-do. 5 euros to take photos. Somewhat frosty staff.
