The golden roof is so special and unique. It is rather new comparing to most other old buildings in vienna. I didnt go inside but just took pictures outside.

Destructed in World War II but fortunately completely restored, this is a time capsule of the era of the fantastic artist Klimt. The hall with his paintings is really impressive, as is the rest of the building. They also show some contemporary art.
a must ! plus there are a dozen other nice places just around the corner - karlsplatz & church, Naschmarkt, Klimt - Schiele - Otto Wagner underground stations ( green, number 4 )
Klimt's Der Beethoveries collection is stunning. The remaining contemporary works on show when we were there didn't impress. Nice gallery building convenient to Vienna Pass bus route and other attraction.
