The city is heaven for pedestrians and cyclists to wander around. We found it most enjoyable in the evening when the crowds thin out and some streets start to be deserted.

Hi I am resident in vienna, my hints have a look at Steigenberger in Herrengasse, park hyatt is a very elegant and Lamée ( new rooftop bar) or Topazz are cool design hotels, hope you like it :)) barbara

The hotel is 20 minutes from the airport and 7 minutes walk into the centre of Vienna near the opera house. Don't think you will be able to cover too much sightseeing but with an early breakfast who knows
